"if it hurts, you'll know it's going to get better" is the third EP of the half-Finnish and half-British singer-songwriter & producer Emily Frost.

The EP, which features singles such as "Jump (into cold water)" and "white picket fences" will be released on March 29, 2024. These new songs tell vulnerable stories about navigating the world as a twenty-something, and were influenced by movies such as Lost in translation and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and artists Solange, Blood Orange and Wolf Alice. The songs are a mix of soulful vocals, memorable melodies, groovy beats and the right amount of Finnish melancholia.
